Trampolines with enclosure

A safety enclosure is one of the most important safety features on a trampoline, whether it's used by children or adults. Netting can be integrated into the design, with poles sitting inside the springs and the net fully enclosed around the frame, or sold as a separate accessory fitted around an existing trampoline. Integrated, fully enclosed designs are generally considered safer, since the risk of hitting a pole or slipping between the net and the edge is reduced.

On this page we compare trampolines by enclosure type, along with related details such as a self-closing entrance, padding over the springs, and whether the net poles sit inside or outside the jumping area. If the trampoline you're considering is sold without an enclosure, check whether a separate net is available and whether it's compatible with the exact model and size you're looking at before you decide.

Quick answer

No model currently meets every requirement for this list: we only rank trampolines sold in the UK with enough technical data. The list fills automatically once retailer product feeds are connected.

How we picked

We separate sealed nets with a safety belt from open nets, and that affects the safety score. The data comes from manufacturers.

We have not tested the nets ourselves and cannot judge how they last beyond the stated warranty and UV protection.

Criteria for this list

  • A safety enclosure is included in the box.
  • Sold in the UK and at least 50% known data.
  • Ranked by overall score with the same weights as the main list.

The list

No models are ranked yet. We never pad the list with models that do not meet the requirements.

Matching models, not yet ranked

These models match the list criteria but lack enough data. They are sorted by how complete their data is and are not a ranking.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between a sealed and an open net?
A sealed net attaches around the whole jumping surface with no gap to the mat. An open net leaves gaps. Sealed nets with a belt earn more safety points in our model.
Can I buy an enclosure later?
Many brands sell nets as accessories, but they usually only fit the same brand and size. Check with the manufacturer.
Why are some models shown unranked?
They match the criteria but lack enough data. We rank them once the data exists.
